Research Into Esport Athlete Well-being Featured

UNCG News highlighted the research being done by Prevention Strategies and the Center for Athlete Well-being on esport athletes' well-being. The article discusses TEAMS (The Esport Athlete Mental well-being Study) the largest academic study to date about esports athletes’ perceptions and experiences; including academic experiences, relationships with coaches, mental health, the gaming environment, and substance abuse, an esports coach’s program under development, and other opportunities to translate research into programs to positively impact gamer health, well-being and experiences.
