Prevention Strategies lead workshop for PE & Health educators at SHAPE Arkansas conference

Prevention Strategies' David Wyrick and Shane Stadler led a workshop at the The Society of Health and Physical Educators of Arkansas's SHAPE Arkansas Conference on the critical role that high school health and PE teachers play in preventing alcohol and other drug (AOD) misuse among students. They highlighted the importance of integrating evidence-based AOD prevention programs, like All Stars Senior, into their curriculum. The session empowered current and future educators with the knowledge and tools they need to address AOD issues effectively.

The presentation was in support of Prevention Strategies' on-going work with the Arkansas Youth Drug-Use Reduction Program (Grant No. CDS9924G0018-00) led by MidSOUTH at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. You can read more about that project here.
