Brain Care, an online concussion education and concussion reporting promotion program that engages both student-athletes and coaches, recently launched year two of its three year program. “Concussion is a top concerns in athletics today. BrainCare aims to increase concussion reporting among collegiate student-athletes by targeting their norms, expectancies, and intentions as well as the attitudes and intentions of coaches,” stated Dr. Jeffrey J. Milroy, Associate Director of The Institute to Promote Athlete Health and Wellness (IPAHW) at UNC Greensboro.

BrainCare not only provides standardized concussion education to student-athletes and coaches, it also targets important risk and protective factors that influence concussion reporting behaviors of collegiate student-athletes.
