David Wyrick Joins Hilinski’s Hope as Keynote for ACC Mental Health Summit
Dr. David Wyrick joined Kym and Mark Hilinski of Hilinski's Hope, to deliver the opening keynote address for the Atlantic Coast Conference's Mental Health Summit in Durham NC.
The two-day summit explored strategies and best practices for mental health care for student-athletes at ACC institutions. Attendees also identified ways to reduce the stigma of mental illness and promote access to mental health services.
Prevention Strategies is assisting Hilinski’s Hope as they partner with the NCAA Sport Science Institute to identify effective strategies for increasing the adoption and implementation of best practices for understanding and supporting student-athlete mental wellness at all NCAA-member institutions.
