Prevention Strategies President Receives Research Award
Each year, UNC Greensboro’s Health and Human Sciences Research Excellence Awards recognize HHS faculty members for their outstanding research contributions. This year, David Wyrick PhD, President of Prevention Strategies and Director of the Institute to Promote Athlete Health and Wellness, was named winner of the Senior Research Excellence Award for tenured faculty. The award is based on the nominee's career-long body of research as demonstrated by the originality of work, a pattern of research productivity and the involvement of student in the research enterprise.
